cross country mountain bike racing
|
Hi, I’m Ryan Bragg. My home town is Braintree in Essex and I’m 32 years old. I’ve been cycling for as long as I can remember. I started racing in 1995 doing local races and in my first race with no training I came 14th. The next year I joined a local bike club “Flinstone MBC”, going round doing all the local races with them. In 2000 I got the big break I had always wanted, to ride for a top professional team. I joined Scott UK and had a fantastic time travelling the country racing at all the top races in the UK. After a year with Scott we had the outbreak of foot and mouth which destroyed the racing scene for a while and finding sponsorship was just not there. I went back to riding under my club, still racing at all the top races until the end of 2003. Then I got another big opportunity to ride with another top bike manufacturer, Roundel MTB, and being able to ride a Turner Nitrous. I’m still with Roundel along with some new sponsors. Please have a look at my ‘sponsors’ page. |
