Wednesday 5th of October at the Ingatestone Community Club.
Following the success of the wonderful dinner we had for Revd. Sue Cruse to mark her leaving from the benefice, our intention is to have an occasional bring and share dinner with a speaker. I am delighted to say that for our dinner date on Wednesday 5th of October Bishop Stephen Cottrell, the Bishop of Chelmsford, has accepted an invitation to be our guest. He will be talking on themes raised in his book, DO NOTHING TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE. This should be a really interesting and entertaining evening. Anyone who has heard Bishop Stephen speak will know how good he is and we are very privileged to have him with us when he is in great demand and also has such a demanding schedule. Please put the date in your diary. Full details will be in the September Towers. There will be sign up sheets in both churches. This will be an excellent event to which to invite family and friends who do not attend church very often, or indeed those who never come and do not see the relevance of faith to their lives. Please be brave and invite others.
